- Noneless is a musician from Kurringgai, Australia, who draws inspiration from playing violin in orchestras, time spent in Buddhist temples and their love of breakcore and bass music to create euphoric soundscapes, complex break patterns, synthesised melodies and psychedelic basslines. Noneless composes with their electric violin, erhu, Nintendo 3DS and Renoise.

'A Vow of Silence', the first album to be released under the Noneless moniker, represents the artist breaking a long musical silence only to engage with a different form of silence. The album reflects the desire for authentic expression that persists despite the inexpressible nature of true meaning. This is how true meaning is silenced, silence being the truest meaning. This album is not that silence itself, but an auditory mirror, silence reflected in music.

オーストラリア、クリンガイ出身のNonelessは、エレクトリックヴァイオリン、二胡、ニンテンドー3DS、Renoiseを駆使して楽曲制作を行う。オーケストラでのヴァイオリン演奏、仏教寺院で過ごした時間など、様々な国と環境での濃密な体験は、類まれなる繊細さと大胆さ、ブレイクコアやベースミュージックへの愛によって、多幸感のあるサウンドスケープ、複雑なブレイクパターン、シンセシス、サイケデリックなベースラインへと昇華され、確かな奥行きと広がりを感じさせる。
「A Vow of Silence」は、Noneless名義でリリースされる最初のアルバムであり、アーティストが長い音楽的沈黙を破り、異なる形の沈黙に取り組むことを意味する。このアルバムは、真の意味が言葉にできない性質にもかかわらず、終わることのない本物の表現への欲求を反映している。こうして真の意味は沈黙し、沈黙は最も真の意味となる。このアルバムは、その沈黙そのものではなく、聴覚的な鏡であり、音楽に映し出された沈黙なのだ。

- 自分は常日頃Breaks及びJungleは、フロアでのダンスミュージックとしての儀式的効能の他にも“あちら側”への行進としての作用も内包されていると思っていて、今作の上に昇っていくかのような天空感は上ネタだけに留まらず、文字通りビートの軸である”Amen”までも浮遊可能である事を証明し、一曲ずつ違うチャクラ/ブロックに作用するかの如く全方向から音として降り注いできます。優しい世界にするためには、一度自分の中の何かを壊さなくてはいけないのかもしれません。あなた自身の儀式のためにも、是非この作品を使ってみては如何でしょうか。

- I have always thought that Breaks and Jungle have an effect as a march to "the other side" besides the ritualistic efficacy as dance music on the floor, and the sense of the sky that seems to rise to the top of this album proves that it is possible to float not only to the hi- frequency (for example like a pad sound) but also to the "Amen" that is literally the axis of the beat, can float, and sounds pour down from all directions, as if acting on different chakras/blocks in each song. To make the world a kinder place, you may have to break something inside yourself. Why not use this piece for your own ritual?
